The Embrace of the Saw is an immersive cinematic experience exploring the concept of rupture: how moments of fracture (within ourselves, our relationships or with the systems and environments we are part of) can become generative paths towards transformation and renewal.

Through a scenography of multiple videos, holographic images, surround lighting, and spatialized soundscapes, unfolds a surreal composition of shifting architectures, classical sculptures and amorphous forms caught in a process of sundering. The combination of real and digital images weaves a post-dramatic narrative in which fluid, organic, and desiring shapes dissolve rigid structures and give rise to new forms. The sentiment of embracing rupture is especially relevant in a time when we are confronted with decaying social systems and the opportunity arises to break away to generate other ways of being. Like a vine deepening the crack of a crumbling wall, our bodies are the instrument through which new contours and textures (physical, virtual and social) can always emerge.
